You can use this format to Ask Your Legislators, Federal and State, to support our life-saving campaign.

Stress the importance of state and federal policy changes guiding law enforcement agencies to adopt and follow significantly safer pursuit policies, smarter pursuit practices and more consistent procedures to reduce innocent victim and law enforcement deaths and injuries.

Ask them to implement mandatory reporting for all Federal, State and Local police pursuits to the Bureau of Justice Statistics.
Ask them to legislate dedicated funding for increased pursuit safety. This funding will support needed law enforcement training programs and technology which will improve decision-making, police coordination, and outcomes.
Ask legislators to include information about police pursuits in all driver education classes for teens and adults, and add questions to state driver license exams.
